Red Ninja Design Studio is individually owned and managed Renay Venter. I am a highly skilled graphic and web designer with more than 10 years’ experience in the design industry.  My experience range from Government to private sector clients and projects which includes the roll-out of the National Construction Week for the Department of Public Works.

I am organized, flexible, ambitious, self-motivated and down-to-earth with an overactive imagination and creative drive. I have the ability to conceptualise and think visually and my experience aided me to work well alone as well as within a team. I am very capable to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

In 2001 I graduated with a Higher Diploma in Visual Arts from 5th Dimension College of Visual Arts. In 2002 I did an internship with the Provincial Government of Road and Transport, Gauteng where I assisted in the design and implementation of the intranet. Looking for more challenges, I moved to QPS Productions as a junior designer where my tasks ranged from logo, business cards and signage to in-house repro and finishing. Wanting to expand my knowledge I joined i-Grade Web Based Solutions in 2004 as their in-house designer responsible for front-end design for websites and user interface design on software solutions as well as marketing material. After two years doing primarily digital design I wanted to explore the corporate trait of design and joined Mongoose Communications & Design as their Senior Designer and Production Manager. My main responsibilities included editorial, logo & corporate identities, websites and digital design and the repro and finishing thereof. In 2007 I decided to try my hand at freelancing and haven’t looked back since. In 2014 I joined Caxton & CTP Publishers and Printers as a contractor with the Kormorant. Responsibilities included the design of adverts in a fast paced environment, the layout and editorial of the Get It Magazine for Hartbeespoort, Brits & Rustenburg, online / digital advertising and social media marketing. I was runner up and received a Highly Commended certificate in the Caxton Awards for Designer of the Year, 2015.
